How to use LinkedIn search
Open a campaign
Go to Campaigns in the sidebar and open an existing campaign or create a new one. LinkedIn search can be used as the lead source for both Voice Note Campaigns and Connection Campaigns.
Click "Add leads" → "LinkedIn search"
Inside the campaign, click Add leads and choose LinkedIn search from the menu. This opens the search panel on the right side of the screen.
Enter your search filters
Type your criteria into the available filter fields — job title, company name, location, or industry. You can combine multiple filters to narrow the results. Hit Search to see matching profiles.
Browse results and select leads
Scroll through the results. Click the checkbox next to any lead you want to add, or use Select all to grab the entire results page. Vosen shows each person’s name, title, and company so you can qualify at a glance.
Search filters
Use any combination of the following filters to define your target audience:- Job title — target by specific role (e.g. “Head of Marketing”, “Sales Director”)
- Company name — narrow to people at a specific organisation or a shortlist of organisations
- Location — filter by city, region, or country
- Industry — limit results to a particular sector (e.g. SaaS, Financial Services, Healthcare)
Best practices
Getting the most out of LinkedIn search comes down to precision. Here are a few guidelines to keep your lists tight and your reply rates high:- Stay specific with job titles. Broad terms like “Manager” return thousands of results across unrelated functions. Use the full title or a more descriptive variant.
- Keep lists focused. Smaller, well-targeted lists consistently outperform large, loosely filtered ones. Aim for quality over quantity.
- Avoid overlapping campaigns. Before adding leads, check that the same profiles aren’t already active in another campaign — duplicate outreach harms your reputation.
- Refresh searches periodically. LinkedIn data changes. Re-run your search before a new campaign batch to catch recently promoted or relocated leads.
