# Clone Your Voice for Personalised Outreach

> Upload a short recording and Vosen clones your voice so every AI-generated LinkedIn voice note sounds authentically like you.

Voice cloning is what makes Vosen's outreach feel genuinely personal. Instead of sending notes in a generic AI voice, you upload a short recording of yourself and Vosen builds a digital clone — capturing your tone, cadence, and personality. Every voice note your campaigns send will sound exactly like you, even though you never recorded it yourself.

<Warning>
  The **Free plan** automatically uses a prebuilt voice. You cannot use your own cloned voice on the Free plan. Upgrade to **Pro or Scale** to unlock voice cloning.

## Recording requirements

To get the best possible clone, your audio file must meet these requirements:

* **Minimum length:** 30 seconds of continuous speech (longer is better — aim for 60–90 seconds if possible).
* **Clear audio:** Record in a quiet environment with no background music, fans, or ambient noise.
* **No interruptions:** Avoid pauses, coughs, or background conversation mid-recording.
* **Natural speech:** Speak in full sentences at your normal, conversational pace — do not slow down or exaggerate your pronunciation.
* **Supported formats:** WAV or MP3 files only.
* **Single speaker:** The recording must contain only your voice — no other speakers.

## Tips for a great clone

Follow these best practices to get the most natural-sounding voice clone:

* **Read from a script at a natural pace.** Write out two or three short paragraphs and read them aloud as if you were speaking to a colleague. Avoid reading in a monotone — vary your inflection naturally.
* **Record in a quiet room.** A home office or a room with soft furnishings (carpets, curtains) works well. Hard surfaces and open spaces create echo that degrades clone quality.
* **Avoid filler words.** Try to minimise "um", "uh", and long pauses — they can affect how smoothly your clone sounds in generated notes.
* **Use your real microphone setup.** Record using the same microphone you'd use on a sales call — a USB headset or a decent built-in laptop microphone both work fine.
* **Re-clone if needed.** If the first clone doesn't capture your voice accurately, re-record with a longer or cleaner sample. There's no limit on how many times you can re-clone your voice.
