# Organise and Update Leads in Your CRM

> Move leads through your pipeline, add timestamped notes, search and filter contacts, and take bulk actions — all from one board.

The Leads CRM gives you full control over how you organise and act on every contact in your outreach pipeline. Whether you're moving a lead to the next stage after a great call or updating a batch of contacts at once, everything you need is in one place.

## Board view

The board view is a kanban-style pipeline where each column represents a stage in your outreach process. By default, leads move through the following stages:

| Stage               | What it means                                           |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Contacted** | You've sent a voice note and are waiting for a reply. |
| **Replied** | The lead has responded to your voice note on LinkedIn. |
| **In Conversation** | You're actively exchanging messages or have had a call. |
| **Booked** | The lead has agreed to a meeting or next step. |

To move a lead, drag their card from one column and drop it into another. The stage change is saved instantly. You can also update a lead's stage from inside their profile using the **Stage** dropdown if you prefer not to drag and drop.

## Adding notes

Notes let you record context about each lead — what they said, what you agreed, or what the next step is. Notes are private (only visible to your team) and are automatically timestamped.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Click a lead card">
    Select any lead from the board or list view to open their profile.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click 'Add note'">
    Scroll to the **Notes** section of the lead profile and click **Add note**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type your note">
    Write a brief summary of the conversation, the outcome, or the action you need to take next.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save**. Your note appears in the lead's timeline with the date and time it was created.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Use notes to log what was discussed straight after a call or LinkedIn exchange, while the details are fresh. A quick two-sentence summary is often all you need to pick up the conversation confidently days later.
</Tip>

## Filtering and searching

When your pipeline grows, finding the right lead quickly saves time. Vosen gives you three ways to narrow down your view:

* **Search by name or company** — use the search bar at the top of the Leads page to find a specific contact instantly.
* **Filter by campaign** — use the **Campaign** filter to see only the leads sourced from a particular outreach campaign.
* **Filter by status** — use the **Status** filter to focus on a specific pipeline stage, such as all leads currently marked as **Replied** or **In Conversation**.

You can combine filters to get a precise view — for example, all leads from your Q3 campaign who are currently in the **Booked** stage.

## Bulk actions

When you need to update several leads at once, bulk actions save you from clicking through each card individually. To use bulk actions:

1. Tick the checkbox on each lead card you want to update. You can also use **Select all** to grab every lead in the current filtered view.
2. A bulk action toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen.
3. Choose an action — such as **Update status** — and apply it to all selected leads at once.

Bulk actions are particularly useful after a campaign completes, when you want to mark a group of non-responders as **Archived** or move a set of warm leads into the **In Conversation** stage together.
