# Target Leads with LinkedIn Search in Vosen

> Use LinkedIn search filters inside Vosen to find and add highly targeted leads to your campaign — no CSV export required.

LinkedIn search lets you find leads and add them to a campaign without ever leaving Vosen. Instead of exporting a list from LinkedIn and reformatting it as a CSV, you run a search directly inside the app, browse the results, and add the people you want in just a few clicks.

<Note>
  LinkedIn search targeting is available on the **Pro** and **Scale** plans. If you're on the Free plan, use [CSV upload](/campaigns/csv-upload) to add leads instead. [Upgrade your plan →](#)

## How to use LinkedIn search

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open a campaign">
    Go to **Campaigns** in the sidebar and open an existing campaign or create a new one. LinkedIn search can be used as the lead source for both Voice Note Campaigns and Connection Campaigns.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click "Add leads" → "LinkedIn search"">
    Inside the campaign, click **Add leads** and choose **LinkedIn search** from the menu. This opens the search panel on the right side of the screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your search filters">
    Type your criteria into the available filter fields — job title, company name, location, or industry. You can combine multiple filters to narrow the results. Hit **Search** to see matching profiles.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Browse results and select leads">
    Scroll through the results. Click the checkbox next to any lead you want to add, or use **Select all** to grab the entire results page. Vosen shows each person's name, title, and company so you can qualify at a glance.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add to campaign">
    Click **Add selected to campaign**. Vosen imports the leads, fetches the required profile data, and queues them for script generation. You'll see a confirmation with the number of leads added.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Search filters

Use any combination of the following filters to define your target audience:

* **Job title** — target by specific role (e.g. "Head of Marketing", "Sales Director")
* **Company name** — narrow to people at a specific organisation or a shortlist of organisations
* **Location** — filter by city, region, or country
* **Industry** — limit results to a particular sector (e.g. SaaS, Financial Services, Healthcare)

## Best practices

Getting the most out of LinkedIn search comes down to precision. Here are a few guidelines to keep your lists tight and your reply rates high:

* **Stay specific with job titles.** Broad terms like "Manager" return thousands of results across unrelated functions. Use the full title or a more descriptive variant.
* **Keep lists focused.** Smaller, well-targeted lists consistently outperform large, loosely filtered ones. Aim for quality over quantity.
* **Avoid overlapping campaigns.** Before adding leads, check that the same profiles aren't already active in another campaign — duplicate outreach harms your reputation.
* **Refresh searches periodically.** LinkedIn data changes. Re-run your search before a new campaign batch to catch recently promoted or relocated leads.

<Tip>
  Combine **Company name** and **Job title** filters together for the most precise targeting. For example, filtering for "VP of Sales" at "Series B SaaS companies" delivers a hyper-relevant list that practically writes the personalisation for your scripts.
