# Auto-Send Voice Notes with Connection Campaigns

> Send a connection request to a lead and let Vosen automatically deliver a personalised voice note the moment they accept — on Scale plans.

Connection campaigns let you turn cold outreach into a warm conversation in two automated steps. Vosen sends a connection request to each lead on your behalf. The instant that lead accepts, Vosen fires a personalised AI voice note — no manual follow-up, no missed timing, no delay. The result is an opening message that lands while your name is still fresh in the lead's mind.

## How connection campaigns work

When you launch a connection campaign, Vosen works in two stages:

1. **Connection request** — Vosen sends a LinkedIn connection request to each lead, optionally including a short personalised note you write in advance.
2. **Automatic voice note on accept** — The moment a lead accepts your request, Vosen immediately sends them a personalised voice note cloned from your voice, scripted by AI using their name, company, and job title.

This two-step sequence keeps your outreach feeling human and timely. Because the voice note arrives right after acceptance, it reads as a genuine "thanks for connecting" — not a blast that went out days later.

## Setting up a connection campaign

    Go to **Campaigns** in the sidebar and click **New campaign**. Give your campaign a clear name so you can identify it later (e.g. "Q3 SaaS VPs — Connection").

    On the campaign type screen, choose **Connection campaign**. This activates the two-stage send flow and unlocks the connection message editor.

    Add your target audience using [CSV upload](/campaigns/csv-upload) or [LinkedIn search](/campaigns/linkedin-search). Each lead requires a first name, last name, and LinkedIn URL at minimum. Company and job title enrich the voice note script.

  <Step title="Customise your connection message (optional)">
    Write a short note to accompany the connection request — up to 300 characters. You can use merge tags like `{first_name}` to personalise it. This step is optional; LinkedIn allows blank connection requests, but a brief note typically improves acceptance rates.

    Vosen generates a personalised voice note script for every lead. Review them in the preview panel, edit any you want to adjust, and approve the list before you go live.

    Click **Launch campaign**. Vosen begins sending connection requests within your daily limit. Voice notes fire automatically as each lead accepts — you don't need to do anything else.

## Tips for connection campaigns

* **Personalise your connection message.** Even a single sentence referencing the lead's role or company ("I'd love to connect — I work with a lot of {job_title}s in the {industry} space") meaningfully improves acceptance rates.
* **Keep voice note scripts brief and friendly.** Aim for 15–25 seconds. The goal is to open a conversation, not deliver a pitch. Your cloned voice does the heavy lifting — let it feel natural.
* **Monitor your acceptance rate.** Track how many leads accept your request in the campaign dashboard. A low rate is a signal to revisit your connection message or refine your targeting.
* **Respect daily limits.** Scale plan sends are unlimited, but spacing requests over time keeps your LinkedIn activity looking organic and protects your account standing.
